An “Amusement Park Adventure” is uniquely designed to strengthen generations for the up and down roller coaster ride of life, by constantly reminding them that God lifts us up, each time the problems of life take us down. Generations are reunited in family groups of mixed ages, and strengthened in faith, through the wisdom and power of God’s Word, to help and care for each other. In this process of caring for each other, generations minister to each other. They give help and receive the good feelings from God that come from helping others in Jesus’ name. Those who receive help are also deeply blessed through the sharing and caring of God’s love touching them through fellow believers. Friendships are formed, in and through faith, which makes them stronger than any other. The faith they build equips generations to handle, prevent, and heal problems and tragedies on earth, and leads to eternal life in heaven. The fact that all of the above and more is done through enjoyable and inspirational Bible Stories, supported and reinforced with Songs, Object Lessons, Teaching Stations (Carnival Crafts, Virtuous Vendors, Application Arcade and the Amazing Midway), and the constant repetition of God’s Word, make this VBS adventure for all ages one of the most effective and valuable VBS programs available today.

Day One Theme: Riding the Roller Coaster.
